SeaDyn personnel perform complex analyses of structures and equipment. These include 3D frames, continuum
structures comprising plates, shells or solid bodies. These analyses are usually undertaken to understand
load paths, stresses and overall structural behavior.
Computer modelling can be configured for single shot analysis or complex multi-level analysis using the
sub-structure (‘super-element’) method. The analysis methods can be linear or non-linear. A range of pre and
post processors are utilised for the generation of complex loadings and for automated code-checking to
various design standards.
The analysis software generally utilised includes ASAS, FS2000, FEMGV and Inventor. |
